About Me
🌿 A Mother, A Poet, A Seeker of Peace
"I was born in 1960, during the revolution. I was so young and unaware, yet I lived, loved, and played. I would see the graffiti of LOVE, PEACE, and MAKE LOVE NOT WAR."
Indigo Bliss is more than an artist—she is a mother, a poet, and a visionary whose words challenge war, materialism, and the systems that divide us.
For over twenty years, she poured her soul into Rooted Thoughts: Mom Pleads for Peace—a book that speaks to the struggles of humanity, the illusion of war, and the hope for unity.
💙 A Life of Resilience & Truth
As a single mother of five, she spent her life working physically demanding jobs—construction, service work—sacrificing everything for her children. Despite the struggles, she never lost sight of what truly matters: love, knowledge, and human connection.
"Caffeine fuels the endurance of long hours.
The family unit has suffered for our strong work ethic.
Personal development is blocked to fill positions,
and extended family is put on the beware list
because of our competitive structure and monetary system."
Her writing challenges the systems that exhaust us and divide us—and asks us to imagine something different.
🌎 The Fight for Peace Continues
Now, at 64, battling stage 4 cancer, she continues to share her vision. This is her moment—to have her voice heard, her work recognized, and her legacy honored.
"When our military fights a war against anyone, it is a war against our own ancestry."
Her message is simple: Peace is possible. Sharing is the answer. A better world begins when we choose love over fear.

"In dedication to all you hippies that took the time to question and to feel for one another.
I am one of your flowers planted so long ago.
This poetry is needed now.
Someday, maybe thoughts won’t exist around war.
Hopefully, they will exist around unity and love."
🌿 Honor her vision. Share her words. Give in love. Be part of the change.
